Nutrition Myths Debunked
Wow! Who Knew?!
Myth: Local honey is good for your immune system & helps to mitigate allergies.
Debunked: While local honey is a delicious way to add sweetness to dishes, there is very little evidence to support the idea that it can treat or help prevent allergies. The pollen in honey that is gathered by bees is from flowers, not the same pollen that commonly causes allergies, like those from trees, weeds or grasses.

A Day In The Life
This is Claire, our Director of Operations
My daily routine has changed so much since leaving restaurant operations. Long gone are the days spent working until 3 or 4 AM and much welcomed are the evenings now spent with friends, hosting dinner, or popping into a hot yoga class.
My work day now starts around 8am, comfortable from my home (though I am so eager to get into our space!). With phone calls sprinkled in, and an in-person meeting weekly, the rest of my day is spent gearing up for our October opening. Recipe testing, social media, newsletters, writing training materials, building equipment lists, and dreaming up the most exciting business plan along with Niki!
